Had such a great day out in the Yarra Valley for my 30th! Adrian made the process of organising the day so easy and it was so great to be able to do different pick up and drop up spots and even pick up some friends already in the yarra valley on the way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🍷 Adrian was absolutely phenomenal from the very first moment I enquired. I had a million questions and wanted to organise a custom hens day tour, and he couldn’t have been more accommodating or helpful. His knowledge of the Yarra Valley was incredible—he knew all the best spots to visit and made the entire experience feel seamless and special. He was friendly, easygoing, happy to take photos for us, and truly made the day unforgettable. If you’re looking for a fun, stress-free and well-organised wine tour, I can’t recommend this experience enough. We had a great tour on the peninsula! We visited 3 wineries which were all lovely with friendly hosts and a great selection of wines. We opted for the sharing pizza/pasta lunch and were really impressed with the quality of the food too. Adrian was our tour guide and made us feel very welcome from start to finish. He is very knowledgable and had selected wineries which were ideal for our large group of 20. Very handy having pick up and drop off and transport between wineries included too!! We can’t thank Melbourne Valley Wine Tours enough for providing transport for our wedding guests. The driver was super friendly, incredibly helpful, and more than happy to do multiple trips to make sure everyone made it to and from the venue safely. It made the entire day and night so much easier knowing our guests were well taken care of. Couldn’t recommend more! This my second tour with Adrian and will never go anywhere else! Always so helpful with recommendations and planning the tours. I planned my best friends bachelorette tour with Adrian pretty last minute and he was SO accommodating! On the last stop of our tour he dropped us off and we couldn’t actually get into our last stop. He turned around 10 mins after dropping us off to pick us all up again and dropped us 40 mins out of his way to a new location charge free. Love Adrian !!! About the Yarra Valley wine region 

The Yarra Valley is Australia’s oldest and most respected wine region. Vines were first planted in the valley in 1838 by the Scottish Ryrie brothers, who established Yering Station, which is still operational today. The valley’s cool climate and fertile soils proved to be well-suited to grape growing, and by the late 19th century, the Yarra Valley was producing some of the finest wines in Australia.

The early 20th century saw a decline in the Yarra Valley’s wine industry due in part to the phylloxera epidemic that devastated vineyards around the world. However, the industry began to recover in the 1960s, and by the 1980s, the Yarra Valley was once again producing world-class wines.
